A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Ivan Navarro with Sebastian Villa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Qjos MiLLano's Dário Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Ştefan Bobeica tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dário Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 28th minute of the match. Ştefan Bobeica struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Qjos MiLLano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ştefan Bobeica in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe van Basten in the 40th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Ivan Navarro got his second yellow card in the match during the 51st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Ştefan Bobeica's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 58th minute of play forced Qjos MiLLano's goalkeeper Dário Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Qjos MiLLano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Qjos MiLLano booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Espiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ştefan Bobeica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dário Neiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd match minute, Qjos MiLLano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Augusto Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes, Qjos MiLLano's Erik Vale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Qjos MiLLano reached it. Ştefan Bobeica hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Sebastian Villa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Qjos MiLLano had won after a very even match.
