Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Rolando Noboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when FC Ouagadougou National's Hamza Yavaş in the 28th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Rolando Noboa was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Peru through an amazing save. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Paolo Evis made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Vereijt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. The throw-in from Nazmi Tanberk in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 62 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rene Vereijt. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Hamza Yavaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rene Vereijt came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 70th minute. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Rene Vereijt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, FC Ouagadougou National's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Abdulla Baia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Baba R. Hansen kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. In the 84th match minute, FC Ouagadougou National was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baba R. Hansen to maneuver through the defense. FC Ouagadougou National's attentive Sean Westelinx managed to snatch the ball when Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. Antonio Tenorio came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rene Vereijt could save by the left post. The corner led Peru's Emmanuel Reyes to fire away a dangerous shot which Rene Vereijt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Milagros Fraga however managed to control. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dani Rojas in the 95th minute of play.
