Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valer Uduleanu kicked off to start the match. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Cornel Panaitescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. 12 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugen Boldur. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornel Panaitescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valer Uduleanu in the 16th minute of play. Dino Zoff came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugen Boldur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugen Boldur got free with Dante Lacasa in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dino Zoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valer Uduleanu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 40th playminute. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes Cormoranii -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Nyström. In the 48th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Dino Zoff. Cormoranii -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Zoff having to interfere. In the 65th minute Valer Uduleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 87th minute of play. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Dino Zoff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 95 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dino Zoff. Alberto Tafalla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
