An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 20th minute of play forced IGUIPORÃ FC's goalkeeper Carlos Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Eric Hjortsberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. In the 37th minute, Abram Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Carioca having to make a save. 40 minutes into the match, IGUIPORÃ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Carlos Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Carioca. IGUIPORÃ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. But to his dismay, Abram Secada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. IGUIPORÃ FC's 谢云伟 was substituted for Emiel Franckx. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Gustavo Sergipano got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 95 minutes of play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Luiz Paulo Chaves made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
