An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play forced Hawk Tuah FC's goalkeeper Holer Nolan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Karl-Åke Söderquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Åke Söderquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hawk Tuah FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Holer Nolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hawk Tuah FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Holer Nolan. The Hawk Tuah FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Holer Nolan should have stopped the shot. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Holer Nolan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Holer Nolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holer Nolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Bayhan İncel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hawk Tuah FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hawk Tuah FC's Bayhan İncel got a free kick in the 28th minute. Holer Nolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Holer Nolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig Gulliksson in the 36th minute. In the 38th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Stig Gulliksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bayhan İncel made a great header on Hawk Tuah FC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! Julio Vera had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Big Dickey's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. During the 59th minute of the match Bayhan İncel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bayhan İncel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 59th minute, Bayhan İncel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Holer Nolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play. After 68 minutes Hawk Tuah FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hawk Tuah FC's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hawk Tuah FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Hawk Tuah FC's Marcial Montrell got a free kick in the 76th minute. Markus Vik struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Holer Nolan in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holer Nolan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Hawk Tuah FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Holer Nolan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 87th match minute, Hawk Tuah FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Vik to maneuver through the defense. After 87 minutes, Hubert Ahlquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hawk Tuah FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hawk Tuah FC's Hubert Ahlquist got a free kick in the 88th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Stig Gulliksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hawk Tuah FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Gulliksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Hawk Tuah FC defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Holer Nolan. The Hawk Tuah FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Holer Nolan should have stopped the shot.
