Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Nascente do Leça's Ademar Tinoco got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Frederico Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. In the 8th minute, Almiro Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16thth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nascente do Leça's Frederico Domingues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ademar Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Américo Leme kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Américo Leme might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Américo Leme ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Nascente do Leça was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederico Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Ademar Tinoco's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ademar Tinoco helped the player get up and apologised. Ademar Tinoco hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Nascente do Leça's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Frederico Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes Nascente do Leça got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Barcelos. After a defensive mix-up in Nascente do Leça's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederico Domingues came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Frederico Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Sérgio Barcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Francisco Seco put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Frederico Domingues. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 63 minutes, Alberto Gisbert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the Nascente do Leça players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Francisco Seco took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Frederico Domingues to make any attempt to save it. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th match minute, Nascente do Leça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Póvoas to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Seco scored 1-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederico Domingues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Nascente do Leça's goalkeeper Frederico Domingues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. In the 84th minute, Sérgio Barcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Frederico Domingues in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Américo Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Frederico Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Morais in the 93rd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uruguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
