Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Milosz Biegun hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Édouard Mendy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Édouard Mendy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Silver Prince sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Édouard Mendy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Francisco Carballar fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chile's protests and gave Francisco Carballar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Carballar to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Édouard Mendy made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Édouard Mendy in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Édouard Mendy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Fc. CzApEnCe's Felice De Felice nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
