To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silver Prince in the 21st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc. CzApEnCe were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Milosz Biegun took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Milosz Biegun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 25th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 32 played minutes Fc. CzApEnCe got a freekick which was hit by Waclaw Marchewka. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diguinho Tinoco might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diguinho Tinoco ran back to his position shaking his head. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Fc. CzApEnCe were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
