The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Szymon Falkiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Szymon Falkiewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-1 in the 9 minute of play. Aleksander Sobania hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Szymon Falkiewicz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 18 minute of play. Jaroslaw Rawa in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
