Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Almkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, Diego Bradley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. USA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 the free kick. Diego Bradley kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Christian Almkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Day. The goal made the score 1-0. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Victor Unesson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Diego Bradley, made in the 18th minute of the game. Giorgio March showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Giorgio March showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Valeriu Oneț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Saul Roman could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Marco Day however easily saved by the left post. In the 30th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgio March saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giorgio March made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 30th minute of play. Giorgio March showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Almkvist in the 44th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Christian Almkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Almkvist's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. A collision led to C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Lu Fan Xi hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Jenson Smith. In the 61st minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgio March saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Giorgio March reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Jenson Smith in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Santiago Nafría. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goalkeeper Giorgio March, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Jairo Montes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jairo Montes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saul Roman took the corner. Sam Campbell succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. After 94 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Zach Harrison. The C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
