Sindo Porregimon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sindo Porregimon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Socavon FC's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sindo Porregimon came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Sindo Porregimon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of play forced Socavon FC's goalkeeper Sindo Porregimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ermengol Alberete came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Ermengol Alberete tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermengol Alberete was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Intxixu Huarte made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 60th minute Zhu Bin Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ermengol Alberete came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Socavon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermengol Alberete couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermengol Alberete in the 68th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sindo Porregimon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artal Baltanas in the 78th minute of play. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermengol Alberete's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Sindo Porregimon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The Socavon FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
