Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Cugat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 10 minutes ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Alejandro Cugat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Alejandro Cugat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Cugat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Primitivo Andino made in the 89th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristian Sancho immediately put the ball in play. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Alejandro Cugat however easily saved by the left post. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alejandro Cugat came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 96th minute. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ throughout the match.
