If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute André Luís Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Luís Zanette. André Luís Zanette in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, André Luís Zanette put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. FC Karamba's supporters rose to their feet, but Danas Nausėda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Karamba's Faustino Ovando got a free kick in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Luís Zanette to make the kick off. FC Karamba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Han Yu Feng in the 52nd minute. After taking down the ball on FC Karamba's corner Han Yu Feng fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-0 when André Luís Zanette sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Rimvydas Andrašiūnas hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that André Luís Zanette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After taking down the ball on FC Karamba's corner Han Yu Feng fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. The nice shot from Daniel Zorita in the 83rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Enrique Mazza had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 83rd minute, Albinas Matūzas made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Lajos Vermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 90th minute of the match Han Yu Feng sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Enrique Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
