After having played for 10 minutes, Danas Nausėda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Karamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danas Nausėda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 14th minute of the match. Enrique Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lajos Vermes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The referee ignored FC Karamba's protests and gave Lajos Vermes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mexico booed when FC Karamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lajos Vermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
