In the 28th match minute, LATIUM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damiano Fiori to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Alessandro Marchesani. LATIUM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Petrini in the 34th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Alessandro Marchesani. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Petricca to strike the kick off in the second half. Alessandro Marchesani came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. 59 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alessandro Marchesani. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alessandro Marchesani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, LATIUM's Alessandro Marchesani got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alessandro Marchesani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when LATIUM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Martelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Alessandro Marchesani. LATIUM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-15. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
