Utku Yuvakuran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Utku Yuvakuran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Matteucci to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino. The audience was convinced that Felix Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Utku Yuvakuran was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorukhan Toköz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erkin Canay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Erhan Eroğul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino in the 88th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Bule in the 90th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Iwan Bule left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino in the 94th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
