With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Paraskevas Spelas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. 史旭林 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 史旭林 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paraskevas Spelas in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 史旭林 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Paraskevas Spelas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which 史旭林 however easily saved by the left post. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paraskevas Spelas went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paraskevas Spelas in the 91st minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by 【FLY】≮风☆云≯蘑菇头炖鲁班's Paraskevas Spelas. But to his dismay, Paraskevas Spelas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but 【FLY】≮风☆云≯蘑菇头炖鲁班 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
