When Constantino Alfonso came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the CLUB ATLÉTICO TIGRE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Alfonso couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Honduras booed when CLUB ATLÉTICO TIGRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Villa to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Constantino Alfonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. When Fidel Stanislao fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Garaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Garaona struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLUB ATLÉTICO TIGRE. Albino Mosen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. CLUB ATLÉTICO TIGRE were victorious despite being under pressure from Honduras for much of the match.
