Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Petru Vernescu started the match with the kick off. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernest Enciu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. 6 minutes into the match, The Wolf’s's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Ernest Enciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petru Vernescus short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Thiago Pliego to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 11th minute of the match, Vasile Chitoran got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thiago Pliego was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Vasile Chitoran sent off a good shot on target. Ernest Enciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes The Wolf’s's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Orlando Casaus made a great header on Chile's corner, it was just that The Wolf’s's Ernest Enciu managed to reach the ball for a save. 32 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernest Enciu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chile were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after The Wolf’s's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. The corner ended in Mariano Lacasa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Wolf’s's Ernest Enciu did a great save. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Wolf’s's goalkeeper Ernest Enciu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41stth minute of the game Petru Vernescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filip Apăvăloaie was slow to take the kick. During this time The Wolf’s's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on The Wolf’s's corner Filip Apăvăloaie fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. Ernest Enciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute of the match Chile got a corner. The Wolf’s's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Xavier Figueroa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernest Enciu made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Vasile Chitoran scored 1-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernest Enciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The Wolf’s's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mariano Lacasa 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. In the 75th minute, Jan Apostel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Ernest Enciu in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Vernescu in the 82nd minute of the match. When The Wolf’s's Petru Vernescu in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernest Enciu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Zakrzewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisco Carballar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ernest Enciu. That made the score 2-3 in the 90 minute of play. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernest Enciu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Chile's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
