Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Silban in the 2nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KARAORMAN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hipolito Misael in the 3rd minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karim Benzema. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Iona Lightfoot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Iona Lightfoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, KARAORMAN's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Iona Lightfoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes KARAORMAN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Iona Lightfoot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Felix Montenegro sped through KARAORMAN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iona Lightfoot. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Iona Lightfoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play. Iona Lightfoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Silban in the 24th minute of play. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iona Lightfoot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 31st minute of play forced KARAORMAN's goalkeeper Iona Lightfoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iona Lightfoot having to interfere. If Karim Benzema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KARAORMAN's Iona Lightfoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 37th minute of play. Antonio Arias was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! Julio Vera had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Karim Benzema's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 41 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Benzema in the 43rd minute of play. Iona Lightfoot came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Karim Benzema made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hipolito Misael who took care of the corner kick. The corner led KARAORMAN's Hipolito Misael to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Iona Lightfoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Silban in the 66th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Silban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iona Lightfoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montes in the 76th minute of the match. Karim Benzema scored 2-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Benzema came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Benzema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Benzema in the 88th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to KARAORMAN getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Guo Ling Zhou hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
