Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play forced Yellow Flag's goalkeeper Nistor Pantelimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gelu Ogășanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yellow Flag's goalkeeper Nistor Pantelimon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nistor Pantelimon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Ogășanu in the 34th minute of the match. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Baba Alba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gelu Ogășanu made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nistor Pantelimon, 0-2. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yellow Flag's Nistor Pantelimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. After 65 minutes, Damian Chiliman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yellow Flag and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Yellow Flag got a freekick which was hit by Damian Chiliman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Nistor Pantelimon in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nistor Pantelimon, 0-3. Nistor Pantelimon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 85 minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baba Alba, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Daniel Zorita charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Zorita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 93 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Yellow Flag.
