Jonathan Ferrant had great luck who in the 9thth minute grab hold of the ball when Barnaba Zakrzewski from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Hans Hoezen in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Salvador Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Zakrzewski in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Corky United's Hans Hoezen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Barnaba Zakrzewski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barnaba Zakrzewski really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of play forced Corky United's goalkeeper Rafael Evans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Corky United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Zakrzewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Evans was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Hans Hoezen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Barnaba Zakrzewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roland Roeles made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hans Hoezen immediately put the ball in play. Marnix Palsma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Denny Weinands left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corky United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Rafael Evans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Patricio Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Rafael Evans made a huge save. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Barnaba Zakrzewski sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Marnix Palsma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corky United's supporters rose to their feet, but Marnix Palsma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan de Cler kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Corky United's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Evans came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barnaba Zakrzewski scored 7-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Hans Hoezen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute of the match Alex Chicote shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Evans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Corky United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
