Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pål Svanberg charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pål Svanberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pål Svanberg hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pål Svanberg was shown his second yellow card after 10 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 11 played minutes INIXET BK got a freekick which was hit by Pål Svanberg. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Carl Kalfhage sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. When INIXET BK's Peder Alström in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peder Alström's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Carl Kalfhage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kent Näver. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Carl Kalfhage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of INIXET BK booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Alström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tom Lövgren. After 36 played minutes, INIXET BK's Sören Gregersson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in INIXET BK reached it. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peder Alström went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Venezuela booed when INIXET BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Wallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Hääger came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. INIXET BK were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tom Lövgren took the corner. Carl Kalfhage was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peder Alström to make the kick off. Patricio Costa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peder Alström, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes INIXET BK got a freekick which was hit by Björn Pihlgren. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by INIXET BK's Peder Alström. But to his dismay, Peder Alström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kent Näver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Kalfhage's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Carl Kalfhage sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Carl Kalfhage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Peder Alström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Venezuela booed when INIXET BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell-Arne Fredriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. INIXET BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
