The El Salvador fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when El Salvador's Moises Fernandino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to FC Alkomaty getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Wincenty Warka hit a great ball. Wincenty Warka's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wincenty Warka helped the player get up and apologised. Wincenty Warka kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Abram Luque got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hieronim Biegun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Stefan Walczyk came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardo Zorita could save by the left post. In the 22nd minute, Mateo Leguizamo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, El Salvador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stefan Walczyk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of El Salvador booed when FC Alkomaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariasz Rozanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes in the game Wincenty Warka did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Radowit Derlanga. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hieronim Biegun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39 minutes, Abram Luque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the FC Alkomaty players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half El Salvador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A hard shot by Mateo Leguizamo from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Hieronim Biegun's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 57th minute Stefan Walczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Fernandinos short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Hieronim Biegun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. FC Alkomaty's Hieronim Biegun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save FC Alkomaty from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Zachariasz Rozanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FC Alkomaty's Hieronim Biegun got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. El Salvador's Abram Luque got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Abram Luque off the ground. In the 85th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abram Luque to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Alkomaty booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Alkomaty's Radowit Derlanga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luis Rubio in the 89 minute of the game. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hieronim Biegun having to interfere. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Hieronim Biegun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. El Salvador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
