Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radowit Derlanga kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Eliseo Noboa scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hieronim Biegun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, FC Alkomaty's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Hieronim Biegun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, FC Alkomaty's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Hieronim Biegun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 34th minute. A beautiful save bye FC Alkomaty's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes into the game, Juan Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Alkomaty the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Costa Rica were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radowit Derlanga made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hieronim Biegun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radowit Derlanga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes, Olgierd Ochylski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Alkomaty and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Alkomaty's Olgierd Ochylski got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 96 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. When the final whistle sounded Costa Rica left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Alkomaty.
