In the 27th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santino Seco to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Pascual Carballar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Ferdinand Joldea. Ferdinand Joldea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Teofil Gorzkiewicz scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 1-1. In the 38th minute, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Teofil Gorzkiewicz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Gorzkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Joldea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Octavian Cercel was substituted for Yang Sang Qian. After 61 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juan Pablo Teran who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Juan Pablo Teran got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 72 minutes into the match, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Ferdinand Joldea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. The crowd rose to their feet as Abram Secada kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferdinand Joldea. That made the score 2-2 in the 80 minute of play. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofil Gorzkiewicz went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 86thth minute of the game Teofil Gorzkiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute Teofil Gorzkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
