Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, MeZoPoTaMYa FK's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Şeref Özdeş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Alan Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Şeref Özdeş managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Brin Delaney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute Brin Delaney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şeref Özdeş made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target.
