The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Buksa, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Zygmunt Kasperowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Juliusz Ranowiecki could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to MKS Przasnysz getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Li Rong Xi hit a great ball. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zygmunt Kasperowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Bernard Iwaszko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Bernard Iwaszko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juliusz Ranowiecki in the 26th minute. Zygmunt Kasperowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Bernard Iwaszko managed to get in a good position for a shot. MKS Przasnysz's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernard Iwaszko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, MKS Przasnysz's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Zygmunt Kasperowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bernard Iwaszko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Buksa kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, MKS Przasnysz's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Zygmunt Kasperowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Zygmunt Kasperowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Buksa in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play forced MKS Przasnysz's goalkeeper Zygmunt Kasperowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zygmunt Kasperowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Ecuador's Felix Montes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felix Montes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ecuador protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felix Montes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MKS Przasnysz:s goal. The referee gave MKS Przasnysz a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lertxun Angostina, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. 1-0. MKS Przasnysz's Edward Watarz was substituted for Juliusz Ranowiecki. MKS Przasnysz's Caetano Leitão was substituted for Bernard Iwaszko. A collision led to MKS Przasnysz getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Li Rong Xi hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Kazimierz Makarewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Watarz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by MKS Przasnysz's Edward Watarz. But to his dismay, Edward Watarz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Watarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Daniel Zorita from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Zygmunt Kasperowicz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The MKS Przasnysz players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
