Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Didžiasalis Utd's Iustinian Ceaușescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Didžiasalis Utd got a freekick which was hit by Tadas Lapukas. 41 minutes into the game, Arūnas Kiaunė was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Didžiasalis Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Didžiasalis Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arūnas Kiaunė didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Robertas Pelėda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Didžiasalis Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 46 minutes, Robertas Pelėda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Didžiasalis Utd and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Robertas Pelėda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Iustinian Ceaușescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Didžiasalis Utd's Vytenis Žvirblis. But to his dismay, Vytenis Žvirblis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. D.J. Bomba lost his temper 66 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Ugnius Bitė might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ugnius Bitė ran back to his position shaking his head. Salvador Gisbert's late challenge caught a Didžiasalis Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Robertas Pelėda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robertas Pelėda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Salvador Gisbert was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iustinian Ceaușescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joshua Secada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustinian Ceaușescu having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Robertas Pelėda made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
