The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Kumla BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Fred Hellqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Kumla BK's Per Forss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Calle Vester was slow to take the kick. During this time Kumla BK's players had a chance to rest. Calle Vester made a great header on Kumla BK's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Fred Hellqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The tension between the Kumla BK and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simon Västberg hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Jerry Bennet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44thth minute of the game Per Forss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Per Forss to make the kick off. Simon Västberg kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fred Hellqvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fred Hellqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Kumla BK getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Simon Västberg hit a great ball. Per Forss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kumla BK's Simon Västberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Simon Västberg off the ground. After 81 played minutes Kumla BK got a freekick which was hit by Simon Västberg. Per Forss hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the game, Alvin Bäckman threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jose Correa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alvin Bäckman in the 90 minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, Kumla BK's goalkeeper Fred Hellqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
