Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Lion FC's Afşin Derem started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th play minute Hızır Dilazad came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lautaro Navarro. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 17th minute. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Feyzullay Sağanalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afşin Derem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hızır Dilazad's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Lautaro Navarro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 35 minutes into the match, Feyzullay Sağanalp notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41stth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lion FC's Ufuk Rasih was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mecnun Pektay's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mecnun Pektay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Honduras booed when Lion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mecnun Pektay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afşin Derem, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 63rd match minute, Lion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reşat Delfin to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Afşin Derem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lion FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Afşin Derem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hızır Dilazad in the 66th minute of play. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feyzullay Sağanalp in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Mecnun Pektay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Espiga did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Ufuk Rasih 85 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ufuk Rasih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hızır Dilazad in the 94th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
