Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Xuan Solera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cometuétano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when Cometuétano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xuan Solera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cometuétano's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miks Lecis came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miks Lecis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Cometuétano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Miks Lecis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miks Lecis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes Cometuétano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Alberto Tafalla to score against Miks Lecis in Cometuétano's goal. 0-1 after 16 minutes. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miks Lecis. Miks Lecis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Alejandro Sevilla hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Miks Lecis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cometuétano's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Cometuétano getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Argenis Coira hit a great ball. Miks Lecis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Tafalla's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Facundo Cadaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miks Lecis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cometuétano defense, Felix Luque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miks Lecis. The Cometuétano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miks Lecis should have stopped the shot. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Mexico's Luca Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Miks Lecis. Miks Lecis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Miks Lecis made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miks Lecis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 played minutes Cometuétano got a freekick which was hit by Alcadio Abajas. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cometuétano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Miks Lecis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Miks Lecis came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Luca Zorita. But to his dismay, Luca Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 87 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Argenis Coira came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cometuétano's Kepa Portillo got a free kick in the 89th minute. Mexico played a much better game than Cometuétano and deserved their victory. The Cometuétano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
