Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Kenny Ugla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Leo Alebeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Tomas Berganza put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kenny Ugla. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Alebeck in the 12th minute of the match. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Alebeck hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Ugla having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in PacMan SugarEaters's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Ugla came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenny Ugla. PacMan SugarEaters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 32nd minute. Kenny Ugla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes, Jan-Åke Billing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PacMan SugarEaters and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Panama booed when PacMan SugarEaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Negru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Kenny Ugla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 55 played minutes PacMan SugarEaters got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Åke Billing. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Ugla having to interfere. Kenny Ugla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Isidoro Sarmiento got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kenny Ugla came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Abraham Alguacil. But to his dismay, Abraham Alguacil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leo Alebeck hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Ugla having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Kenny Ugla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Panama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
