Franco Bosch might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franco Bosch ran back to his position shaking his head. 25 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Bosch came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermengol Baena. The ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermengol Baena should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute of the game Macos Graciani made a throw-in which Luca Zorita played forward. The supporters of ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Mancebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
