With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franco Bosch in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Franco Bosch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 28thth minute of the game Joel Gaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Ermengol Baena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ermengol Baena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Alberto Tafalla sped through ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ermengol Baena. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Ermengol Baena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 40th minute of play. Ermengol Baena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 45th minute of play. Ermengol Baena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 54th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Ermengol Baena threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicollao Narbona in the 64th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Bob Morley got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ermengol Baena was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Alberto Tafalla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Tafalla really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► made a substitution. Quirce Lamas replaced Nicollao Narbona. Quirce Lamas took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 92nd minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ermengol Baena. Ermengol Baena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Ermengol Baena however easily saved by the left post. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► throughout the match.
