Lucjan Sedzikowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Randkleve defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucjan Sedzikowski. The Randkleve fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucjan Sedzikowski should have stopped the shot. Lucjan Sedzikowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucjan Sedzikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 31st minute of play. Ragnar Svartengren kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Liu Hui Qi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Randkleve's Lucjan Sedzikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of play. Lucjan Sedzikowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 56th minute of play forced Randkleve's goalkeeper Lucjan Sedzikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute of the match, Lorenzo Cazalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lucjan Sedzikowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Shi Xiang Zhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Ragnar Svartengren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Randkleve's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After a rather tough play, Randkleve's Ragnar Svartengren got a free kick in the 67th minute. Joel Gaona received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucjan Sedzikowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Gaona slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 71st minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucjan Sedzikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Hui Qi in the 88th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Shi Xiang Zhi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 95 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Randkleve fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
