Primitivo Escribano struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Di Scord didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Di Scord was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Sune Överman in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Raul Venegas. Hans Asklund charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans Asklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Hans Asklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, Xavier Zoido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lobster if the free kick. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Xavier Zoido hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Lobster if's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Di Scord reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Di Scord made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 37th minute of play. Mujahid Lim did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Jacobo Nores 40 minutes into the match. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Primitivo Escribano hit a great ball. When Mujahid Lim came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Lobster if fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mujahid Lim couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Lobster if's Mujahid Lim, in the 51st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Lobster if. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Mujahid Lim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobster if's supporters rose to their feet, but Mujahid Lim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sune Överman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lobster if's Helge Trillkott got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Lobster if getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Dé de Barros hit a great ball. In the 78th match minute, Lobster if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Trillkott to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Lobster if's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Di Scord came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mujahid Lim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd match minute, Lobster if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé de Barros to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Di Scord breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Lobster if's Dé de Barros got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Paraguay players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lobster if from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
