Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. Andreas Frans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match Edwin Koppen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Oscar De Putter made in the 8th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Roland Pluijssens immediately put the ball in play. After 9 minutes of play, Wils FC's Etienne Van Achteren made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Etienne Van Achteren's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Claus Van Dijck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Etienne Van Achteren notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwin Koppen. In the 31st play minute Edwin Koppen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harald De Messemaeckre in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etienne Van Achteren in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Frans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Etienne Van Achteren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwin Koppen got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edwin Koppen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Harald De Messemaeckre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-0 in the 48 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edwin Koppen made a kick off. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Andreas Frans to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edwin Koppen was slow to take the kick. During this time Wils FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Wils FC's corner Edwin Koppen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Andreas Frans in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Koppen in the 64th minute of play. After 66 minutes of play, Wils FC's Etienne Van Achteren made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 70 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Edwin Koppen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Harald De Messemaeckre came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Wils FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harald De Messemaeckre couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Etienne Van Achteren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andreas Frans having to make a save. In the 86th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Koppen in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Etienne Van Achteren in the 96th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
