Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Christopher Buxton capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christopher Buxton really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 6th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Buxton came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milosz Pozorski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Christopher Buxton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. After 18 minutes Yeadon United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Joshua Secada managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Per-Olof Brovall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Brovall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Christopher Buxton scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christopher Buxton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Yeadon United's Milosz Pozorski made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 58 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. With a little luck, Yeadon United's Per-Olof Brovall got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Christopher Buxton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yeadon United the free kick. In the 70th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christopher Buxton in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. When Christopher Buxton came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Yeadon United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christopher Buxton couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Buxton, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Yeadon United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
