Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Aprígio Vasques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aprígio Vasques in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Jairo Leão notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when António Semedo made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Jairo Leão struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting DoutroMundo. António Semedo made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. In the 35th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimas Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Leão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. António Semedo made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. In the 40th minute, Aprígio Vasques made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aprígio Vasques in the 43rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Aprígio Vasques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting DoutroMundo's Dimas Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jairo Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Aprígio Vasques succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. After having played for 77 minutes, Eduardo Fontoura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting DoutroMundo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontoura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Sporting DoutroMundo's Israel Sales sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sporting DoutroMundo's Jairo Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The corner ended in Vahdet Kotuzhan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro did a great save. Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Leão came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting DoutroMundo the free kick. The supporters of Sporting DoutroMundo booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Jairo Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting DoutroMundo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sporting DoutroMundo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
