Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Son Bomberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Fotbal Club Brasovia got a freekick which was hit by Boruc Gotfryd. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th minute Son Bomberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fotbal Club Brasovia booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Brasovia's Boruc Gotfryd got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Son Bomberg put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noh Gol saved Fotbal Club Brasovia from getting behind. In the 38th match minute, Fotbal Club Brasovia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boruc Gotfryd to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fotbal Club Brasovia's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noh Gol came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Noh Gol was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Tomas Illescas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Illescas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Noh Gol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 62nd minute. In the 62nd play minute Tomas Illescas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Noh Gol. 1-2. Noh Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noh Gol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Fotbal Club Brasovia booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fotbal Club Brasovia's Noh Gol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Fotbal Club Brasovia from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Vintilă Tolea in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noh Gol having to make a save. The Venezuela supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Venezuela would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
