Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Islam Slimani took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Mauro defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lu Hong Qiang. The Mauro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lu Hong Qiang should have stopped the shot. If Islam Slimani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Islam Slimani. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Stasio Przebendowski sent off a good shot on target. Karol Kinic kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Islam Slimanis short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Kinic in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Mauro booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Islam Slimani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Islam Slimani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Mauro getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tymoteusz Mikulski hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Islam Slimani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 40th minute Karol Kinic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Tymoteusz Mikulski charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tymoteusz Mikulski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Tymoteusz Mikulski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Islam Slimani might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Islam Slimani ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, Mauro's goalkeeper Lu Hong Qiang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After 59 played minutes Mauro got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Lanczak. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Kinic, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Lu Hong Qiang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 68th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Kinic in the 72nd minute of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lu Hong Qiang having to make a save. Tymoteusz Mikulski made in the 84th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Stasio Przebendowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Bara in the 85th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Islam Slimani took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
