Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacek Polkoski started the match with the kick off. After 7 played minutes IKP Wolimierz got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Mattos. In the 11th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Grondzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arkadiusz Kossakowski's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norbert Grondzki having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st match minute, IKP Wolimierz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylwester Kon to maneuver through the defense. IKP Wolimierz's Norbert Grondzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. Norbert Grondzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Grondzki having to interfere. Arkadiusz Kossakowski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 44 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Norbert Grondzki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Arkadiusz Kossakowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

IKP Wolimierz's Norbert Grondzki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save IKP Wolimierz from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Juan Sebastián Puig almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but IKP Wolimierz's Norbert Grondzki did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Norbert Grondzki in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norbert Grondzki made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Jacek Polkoski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Jacek Polkoski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norbert Grondzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 70th minute. Norbert Grondzki made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Norbert Grondzki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luis Andino in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Norbert Grondzki, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jacek Polkoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Norbert Grondzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Andino's late challenge caught a IKP Wolimierz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Andino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IKP Wolimierz's Jacek Polkoski got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Arkadiusz Kossakowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Norbert Grondzki. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
