Vahdet Yalçıner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. The corner ended in Beturian Gabas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Andino in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Schumacher saved HACIOFLAZLAR from getting behind. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karahan Çetinsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of HACIOFLAZLAR booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Schumacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of the match. HACIOFLAZLAR's Tony Schumacher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tony Schumacher. HACIOFLAZLAR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. HACIOFLAZLAR's Tony Schumacher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Battal Ballıoğlu in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, HACIOFLAZLAR's Vahdet Yalçıner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tony Schumacher came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Vahdet Yalçıner fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HACIOFLAZLAR's protests and gave Vahdet Yalçıner a yellow card for diving instead. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Battal Ballıoğlu in the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tony Schumacher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Battal Ballıoğlu made a kick off. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Battal Ballıoğlu's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, HACIOFLAZLAR's Corderun Sagaseta got a free kick in the 63rd minute. HACIOFLAZLAR's Tony Schumacher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save HACIOFLAZLAR from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Tony Schumacher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battal Ballıoğlu in the 88th minute of play. HACIOFLAZLAR's Battal Ballıoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 95th minute of play forced HACIOFLAZLAR's goalkeeper Tony Schumacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, HACIOFLAZLAR's Tony Schumacher got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador played a much better game than HACIOFLAZLAR and deserved their victory. The HACIOFLAZLAR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
