But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Carballar couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the match, Aquilino Baumer notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 8 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Baumer came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gianluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gianluigi Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Aquilino Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Baumer in the 22nd minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gianluigi Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. After 28 minutes of play, 『盛世メ名門』☆烈酒☆'s Aquilino Baumer made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gianluigi Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquilino Baumer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Aquilino Baumer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, 『盛世メ名門』☆烈酒☆'s Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aquilino Baumer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Aquilino Baumer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. 54 minutes into the match, 『盛世メ名門』☆烈酒☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Gianluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! 『盛世メ名門』☆烈酒☆'s Gianluigi Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save 『盛世メ名門』☆烈酒☆ from getting a goal against them. 『盛世メ名門』☆烈酒☆ made a substitution. 狄明风 replaced Aquilino Baumer. In the 77th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. 狄明风 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 狄明风, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 狄明风 in the 86th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when 狄明风 came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 狄明风 in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
