Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) DESTROYER's Zé Telo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferruccio Valerio struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DESTROYER. Jose Correa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 18 in the game by Ferruccio Valerio from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Zé Telo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Di Giambattista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 22nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Ferruccio Valerio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ferruccio Valerio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 26th minute, Niall May hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Di Giambattista having to interfere. In the 34th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Di Giambattista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferruccio Valerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Telo got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Venezuela booed when DESTROYER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Telo didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio Valerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Florentino Bieito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Di Giambattista having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ferruccio Valerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ferruccio Valerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florentino Bieito hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Fausto Di Giambattista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Valerio in the 79th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Ferruccio Valerio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. DESTROYER's Fausto Di Giambattista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 93rd minute of play. DESTROYER were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
