The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Víctor Rapado came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Víctor Rapado took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 71 played minutes, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Szymon Sochacki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa Rica reached it. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Madeiro's goalkeeper Szymon Sochacki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víctor Rapado in the 85th minute of the match. Axel Tasis charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Tasis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Demesio Barberá kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Teodosio Eli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Madeiro walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
