An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play forced MJÄLLBY STARS's goalkeeper Lucas Heggert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutluay Lebib in the 30th minute of the match. Tansu Çelikel made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Max Kock however managed to control. The Peru fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Peru's Julian Murillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. MJÄLLBY STARS's Lucas Heggert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Polentzi Sordo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Peru's Eliseo Mina got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Polentzi Sordo made the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Polentzi Sordo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kutluay Lebib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tansu Çelikel made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The supporters of Peru booed when MJÄLLBY STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nils-Åke Jönsson, made in the 70th minute of the game. MJÄLLBY STARS's Arvin Aspengren was substituted for Polentzi Sordo. After 74 played minutes MJÄLLBY STARS got a freekick which was hit by Tansu Çelikel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Heggert saved MJÄLLBY STARS from getting behind. Nils-Åke Jönsson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Arvin Aspengren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Lucas Heggert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 91st minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, MJÄLLBY STARS's goalkeeper Lucas Heggert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gallo. Peru played a much better game than MJÄLLBY STARS and deserved their victory. The MJÄLLBY STARS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
