Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jamaica's Finlay Stair started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Kleanthis Kostakoglou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Demonde Jacobson was a little too slow when Kleanthis Kostakoglou got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 2-0. Demonde Jacobson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kleanthis Kostakoglou showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 16 minute of play. Kordal Duff hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kleanthis Kostakoglou got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Kleanthis Kostakoglou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jarell Hill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Trent Cuevas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eli Nielsen charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eli Nielsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Schalke 04 getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Eli Nielsen hit a great ball. Percy Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Kleanthis Kostakoglou sent off a good shot on target. Kleanthis Kostakoglou succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 37th playminute. In the 41st minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trent Cuevas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neal Collins kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kleanthis Kostakoglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trent Cuevas came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Jamaica's Finlay Stair. But to his dismay, Finlay Stair quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Jamaica's Karlus Waugh slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Trent Cuevas. That made the score 5-2 after 64 minutes of play. In the 68th minute, Eli Nielsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Schalke 04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kleanthis Kostakoglou in the 71st minute of the match. Romon Oliver struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Trent Cuevas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamaica.
