Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moritz Riemer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Moritz Riemer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. If Sandro Högger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. THB Herrenalb's Willi Wolters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 19th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignatius Tilmann. A collision led to THB Herrenalb getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Curt Nickel hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willi Wolters was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Uruguay's attentive Arturo Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Roberto Pöhler made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Moritz Riemer came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Ignatius Tilmann could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Joaquin Gayoso however easily saved by the left post. In the 40th minute of the match THB Herrenalb got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roberto Pöhler ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Roberto Pöhler got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 43 minutes into the match, THB Herrenalb's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Willi Wolters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uruguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Cazalla in the 44th minute. Jaime Cazalla made a great header on Uruguay's corner, it was just that THB Herrenalb's Willi Wolters managed to reach the ball for a save. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes THB Herrenalb got a freekick which was hit by Zacharias Schöbel. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lutz Holtzmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Lutz Holtzmann made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaus Schultz in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Francisco Seco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Francisco Seco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willi Wolters having to make a save. Zacharias Schöbel hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The supporters of THB Herrenalb booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Willi Wolters when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 72nd minute of play forced THB Herrenalb's goalkeeper Willi Wolters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute of the match, Francisco Seco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Willi Wolters was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 75 minutes THB Herrenalb's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jaime Cazalla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but THB Herrenalb's Willi Wolters did a great save. Roberto Pöhler made in the 78th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ludwig Müntefering immediately put the ball in play. THB Herrenalb's Lutz Holtzmann got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Willi Wolters made a huge save. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lutz Holtzmann went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, THB Herrenalb could leave the field as winners, despite Uruguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
